The Full Council meets on the last Monday of every month at 7.00pm in the Council Chamber at the Town Hall. It is chaired by The Mayor and all councillors are expected to attend. At the Full Council meeting the councillors deal with the main business of the Town Council. It receives reports and approves the minutes from each of the sub-committees and it delegates tasks to them. The Full Council also decides upon key aspects of council business which occur each year, such as the setting of the precept and the election of the new Mayor. A financial report is presented to Full Council at each meeting and the Town Clerk also provides a detailed report. Members of the public and the press are welcome to attend the meeting.
