12 July - Charity Cycle
It was a privilege to greet the remaining Wensleydale Round Table cyclists, when they reached Richmond Castle last Sunday.
In the intense heat they set off on a 130km cycle ride, from Richmond, visiting the following Castles:
Middleham, Castle Bolton, Barnard Castle, Walworth and Richmond Castle.
This was all in aid of Darlington MIND, which is also one of my Charities this year. it includes MIND in Hambleton and Richmondshire, an independent mental health charity supporting individuals and families.
Congratulations to all who participated in and organised this event, for such a worthy cause.
