Councillors

Councillor Harris joined the Council in 1995. He is the second-longest serving councillor on the Town Council. He represents East Ward.

Councillor Harris is Vice-Chairman of the Resources Committee and is a member of the Planning and Donations Committees.

Councillor Harris was Mayor of Richmond in 2000-1 Civic year.

Councillor Heap joined the Council in 2008 and represents West Ward. He is also the Town Crier.

Councillor Heap is a member of the Resources, Donations and Planning Committees.

Councillor Heap was Mayor of Richmond in 2010-11 civic year.

Councillor Hodgson joined the town council in the parish elections of May 2015 and represents West Ward.

Councillor Hodgson is a member of the Donations and Resources Committees.

Councillor Lord joined the Council in 2003 and represents East Ward.

Councillor Lord is currently Deputy Mayor

Councillor Lord is a member of the Resources, Community and Planning Committees.

Councillor Lord was the Town Mayor of Richmond in 2004-05 and 2015-16 civic years.

Councillor Parsons joined the Town Council in May 2011 and represents West Ward.

Councillor Parsons is Chairman of the Resources Committee and a member of the Community, Donations and Planning Committees.

Councillor Parsons was Town Mayor of Richmond in 2002-04,  2006-07 and 2016-17  civic year's.

Councillor Preece is the current Town Mayor and joined Richmond Town Council in 2014 and represents West Ward.

Councillor Preece is a member of the Planning, Community, Donations and Resources Committees.

Councillor Robert (Bob) White joined the Council in 2008 and represents East Ward.

Councillor White has been a member of the Resources, Community and Planning Committees for the past ten years and has been Chair of the Planning Committee for the past three years.

Councillor White was Mayor of Richmond in 2013-14 civic year and Deputy Mayor 2010-11 & 2018-19

Other interests in town:

Vice Chair of the Richmond Branch of the Royal British Legion and the Poppy Appeal Organiser for Richmond.

Founder member of the Richmond Working Together Group providing community information on the Richmond.org website.

Hon. Treasurer for the Richmond/Norwegian Twinning Association.

Councillor Brewer joined the Council in 2019 and represents West Ward.

Councillor Brewer is a member of the Community, Donations and Planning Committees.

Councillor Curran rejoined Richmond Town Council in 2019.

Councillor Curran had previously been a member of the Council and was the Mayor of Richmond in the Civic Year 2006-2007.

Councillor Wicks joined the Council in 2018 and represents East Ward.

Councillor Wicks is a member of the Resources and Donations Committees.

Councillor World joined the Council in 1991. He is the longest serving councillor on the Town Council and represents West Ward.

Councillor Woods joined the town council in May 2018 and represents West Ward.
