20 June - Dementia Forward Charity Walk

It was a beautiful morning for The Dementia Forward Charity Walk.

Nearly one hundred people, from near and far set off in their bright yellow t shirts. These were kindly sponsored by Robbie Jones of Home Instead.

In what was turning into a very hot day, we were grateful to be in the shade, from the overhanging trees as we travelled along this very special route.

The walk finished at St Mary's Church, where refreshments were being provided. Nobody was disappointed. A large variety of cakes and welcome drinks awaited us. With the welcome addition of musicians playing and singing in the background.

Dementia Forward play such an in important role in our community. It was a pleasure to participate and help promote their work.

Thanks to Kim who organised the event and everybody who made it such a success.
