It was an absolute pleasure, as Mayor, to attend our very first artisan market of the year on Sunday and what a day it was. From beautifully handcrafted goods to delicious local treats, the talent, passion, and community spirit on display made me incredibly proud of our town.
Events like this remind us just how special Richmond is. While it was wonderful to welcome such talented traders, I also want to recognise and champion the incredible local businesses that are the backbone of our community. Your dedication, resilience, and contribution to our town do not go unnoticed, and I will always encourage residents and visitors alike to support you.
It’s inspiring to see so many people coming together young and old to celebrate, connect, and support both visiting traders and our fantastic local enterprises.
A huge thank you to everyone who organised, participated, and attended. Here’s to many more vibrant market days ahead in 2026!
