25 April - Easby Loop Cafe

As Mayor and Mayoress of Richmond, we recently had the pleasure of making the short trip to Easby Loop Café, where Nic and his team were already hard at work creating such a welcoming outdoor space for all who visit.
What we found there was far more than just a café, it was a shining example of passion, dedication, and community spirit. Nic and his team are a true inspiration, and their recent success at the Richmond Business Awards is so well deserved. Winning the David Doorbar Award for Excellence and Best Sole Trader of the Year, alongside being runners up for Best New Business and Young Person, is an incredible achievement.
We were delighted to enjoy a smashing breakfast during our visit, and can wholeheartedly recommend a trip there to anyone looking for great food in a beautiful setting.
To our local young people in particular take note. This is what can be achieved with hard work, vision, and determination. Nic’s journey is one to be admired, and we are proud to have such talent and enterprise right here in our community.
