25 June - Armed Forces Flag Raising Ceremony

A large crowd of all ages were present on a very hot day at Friary Gardens for The Flag Raising Ceremony for Armed Forces Day.

The service was led by Rabbi NIR NADAV. Chaplain First Battalion, Royal Yorkshire Regiment.  He spoke about Armed Forces Day, celebrating and offering appreciation and thanks to all who serve in our Armed Forces and are part of the wider Armed Forces Community. Together we salute them all and the memory of those who are no longer with us.
