7 Oct - Nightingale Hall

Niki and myself were warmly welcomed at Nightingale Hall by Caroline Mawhinney, Lifestyle Co-ordinator.

We were taken around and introduced to residents, family and friends from Richmond and the surrounding area.

I was especially delighted to meet my long time friends Graham and Flora and also John and Margaret Andrews.

We were introduced to one lady who was busy sewing poppies, something Niki is involved with. I was given one and promised to proudly wear it on Remembrance Day.

A special thanks to all the caring staff. What an excellent job they do. Also, the volunteers who gladly give their time to enable forty different activities to take place.
