This morning, as the Mayor and the Mayoress we had the absolute joy of visiting two of our wonderful local care homes.

We began our visits at Nightingale Hall, before heading on to The Terrace Care Home, where we were met by the most amazing residents, all in such a wonderfully festive mood. The atmosphere was full of smiles, laughter and Christmas cheer, and it was truly uplifting to see.

I was also deeply impressed by the incredible dedication of the staff at both homes, who work tirelessly every day and were going above and beyond to make the day special and festive for their residents. Their care, kindness and commitment do not go unnoticed.

It was a real pleasure to spend time with everyone and to wish both residents and staff a very Merry Christmas. 🎄✨
