21 March - Greyfriars Cafe Re-opening

As Mayor and Mayoress of Richmond, this morning we had the pleasure to be there to celebrate the grand opening of Greyfriars Café.

This café has served the residents of Greyfriars over many years, and it is wonderful to see it open its doors once again.

Places like this hold real meaning in a community, somewhere to gather, to connect, and to enjoy good company.

Greyfriars Café is once again a fantastic addition to Richmond and I have no doubt it will once again become a much-loved part of local life.
I would like to congratulate Julie, Gaynor and everyone involved in bringing this café back to life. Your hard work and dedication have created something very special for our town.
We wish you every success for the future.
