17 June - Nine Acre Field

Nine Acre Field is situated next to the cemetery and at the bottom of Westfields.

It was restored twelve years ago by The Landscape Trust as part of a Buglife B- Lines project.

We paid a visit with officers of The Trust and were told that this year there are eighty four different varieties of wild flower.

Why not pay a visit before mid July, when it will be cut in the traditional manner.
