Richmond Christmas Market

It was my honour to open this year’s Christmas Market this morning, and from the very start it was clear our town was ready to celebrate. The residents of Richmond turned out in force, filling the Market Place with festive spirit, smiles and community pride.
Our amazing volunteers outdid themselves once again from months of planning to extraordinary efforts like Wendy from Granny’s Kitchen completing a sponsored parachute jump earlier this year! And none of this would have been possible without the generosity of our local businesses and supporters who make this event shine.With over 50 stalls, brilliant entertainment, the Santa Fun Run, Santa’s Grotto, children’s activities and our fantastic independent shops and cafés, Richmond was truly alive today. The music, dancing, laughter and Christmas cheer were everywhere.A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came, supported, performed, volunteered and helped make today so special. Richmond you were amazing. 💛
