23 June - St Mary's RC Primary School Sports Afternoon

On a very hot afternoon, it was a pleasure to attend St. Mary's R.C. Primary School’s sports afternoon.

Niki and myself joined the children in the shade, who all had hats on and water bottles in hand.

Due to the intense heat, there were fewer races, but it it did not stop the friendly rivalry between pupils and the loud encouragement from the many parents who attended.

All too soon the sports finished, with a lot of very happy, well behaved children ready to go back to class.

Thanks to all staff for making the sports afternoon so enjoyable for all.
