It was fantastic to see so many people in Richmond on Friday Night for the Christmas Lights Switch On!
A huge Thank You to all of the volunteers who have once again spent their free time bringing Christmas to Richmond including:-
The members of Richmond Duck Club for all of their work decorating Friary Gardens over the last couple of weekends and organising the Christmas Lights Switch On on Friday evening.
Lt Col Jenkins DIO North Region & Landmarc for the kind permission and support in providing the town Christmas Tree in the Market Place.
John Lawrence (Dryad Arbor) for felling, arranging collection and putting up the Christmas Tree in Richmond Market Place.
Richmond Town Councillors serving mince pies & goodies (supplied by Edwina's) and mulled wine in the Market Hall.
Students and teachers from Richmond School and St Francis Xavier School for their festive performances on Friday evening under Trinity Tower.
